Social Media Companies Scramble to Relabel Years of "Biden is Mentally Fit" News as Misinformation

'Silicon Valley', CA -- Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and X (formerly Twitter) have been having emergency shareholder meetings since Joe Biden has decided not to run for a second term due to declining mental faculties.  The social media companies have deeply held beliefs about not spreading misinformation.  They provide helpful warning labels about many topics such as 2020 election deniers, climate change deniers, and nearly everything former President Trump says.

In light of the very recent revelation that President Joe Biden has been suffering from either dementia or Alzheimer's disease for several years, the companies are now going back through the hundreds of thousands of articles, reports, and videos asserting Joe Biden is mentally fit and relabeling them all as misinformation.

IT professionals have reportedly been working "non-stop" at all companies that provide these misinformation labels.  It is strongly expected that the amount of overtime and electricity expenses will affect the bottom line, prompting stock price drops and emergency shareholder meetings in response.

As on IT professional at Facebook who asked not to be named stated, "New York Times, LA Times, Washington Post, MSNBC ... there is just so much.  Even though we utilize a lot of AI to find all the misinformation, all those models need to be retrained, tested, and deployed.  It's a massive task."

The same IT professional went on to say "doing it quickly isn't really feasible, so we're taking a few shortcuts.  Take CNN for an example - we're just labelled everything from them as misinformation for now.  We'll go back and find the few things that are true when this is all over."
